Contributors to the articles can come from any professional and need not be Meteorology. University, College, High School, Primary students, or Farmers, Teachers, Engineers, Lawyers or Laymen can contribute to the articles.

It has been a pleasure to serve you in the quarterly Journal of Meteorology and Related Sciences (JMRS) published by this society. Note that, this is one of the core mandates of the society.
In light of the Government's directive of banning all gatherings to curb the spread of Corona Virus, the KMS Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Friday, 26th March 2021. Both Virtual and Physical at the IMTR Auditorium starting from 8.30AM.
We wish all our members to closely follow instructions and advice from the Ministry of Health and health experts. We value you; please stay healthy against this global epidemic.

The Society held its 19th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 29th March 2019 at the Institute for Meteorological Training and Research (IMTR), Nairobi from 9.30 am. It was an interactive session where members were informed of the society's activities in the year 2018 and this year's projection.
The KMS Conference organizers have resolved to a virtual conference.
The 14th KMS International Conference on Meteorological Research, Applications and Services will take place on 28 – 30 April 2020, Naivasha Kenya.
The date for submission of abstracts has CLOSED.

The Conference will run on the theme Climate Risk Reduction, Society and Sustainable Development. The conference will emphasize the need for the society to enhance its capacities and abilities to deal with weather and climate related hazards in the region as well as globally.
