Dr. Ochieng is a social scientist with over 7 years’ experience in baseline surveys and empirical research interest in water demand and utilization, water resources, rainfall and drought trends analysis, food security and pastoral resilience.  He has worked with researchers from Kenya, United Kingdom and Mongolia. He recently participated in a project on Pastoral Resilience funded Global Challenges Research Fund.
